Yingxian Wooden Pagoda VR Experience
The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda VR Experience, a collaboration between Lenovo and Tsinghua University, uses AI, NeRF, and XR technologies to create a digital twin of the world’s tallest and oldest wooden pagoda. As a key contributor, I worked on 3D modeling, designing 2D sketches, and developing a high fidelity 3D Buddhist head sculpture. I also conducted 3D scans to ensure accurate digital visualization. This project preserves the pagoda’s architecture amid natural erosion and restricted access, offering an immersive VR experience for exploration, research, and cultural preservation, setting a new standard for heritage protection through technology.
